Saar. 24. Travels. Writes. Does that make her a travel-writer? Not just yet. Loves to bring all her beloved ones, earthly and heavenly creatures, along on her trip. Will try to do so by dropping notes, posting pictures, videos, writing stories. A.k.a.: sharing her experiences. Don't feel like reading from a screen? Just wait for the book to get published! (*Wishful thinking*)
Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
Today was a good day. It was a start of things. Feel-good-things. I went to a secondhand bookstore this afternoon and browsed around the three floors of goodness. I could have spend so much more time there, were it not for the alarm on my phone telling me to get my ass to yoga. (Note to self: get job at bookshop).
I ended up bringing 6 books home.
First, the ‘usual suspects’:

Tennessee Williams - A streetcar named Desire - because the cover rocks balls (Hello shirtless Marlon), it’s so nice to love to hate Stanley and because I simply dig this play and it’s writer.

Anton Chekhov - The major plays (Ivanov, The Sea Gull, Uncle Vanya, The Three Sisters, The Cherry Orchard) - because you should never forget what makes your heart beat.

Ibsen - Four major plays, volume 1 (A Doll House, The Wild Duck, Hedda Gabler, The Master Builder) - Because because.
The ‘unusual suspects’:

Paulson - Kundalini and the chakras - a practical manual. Evolution in this lifetime. - Because I have been thinking about this subject a bit lately and the cover got me interested in reading, knowing, feeling more:
“The mysteries of Kundalini revealed. Prepare to make a quantum leap in your spiritual growth. We all posses the powerful evolutionary force of Kundalini that can open us to genius states, psychic powers and cosmic consciousness. As the energies of the Aquarian Age intensify, more and more people are experiencing spontaneous Kundalini releases that are incredibly powerful and sometimes startling. This book shows you how to release Kundalini gradually and safely. The section on chakras brings new understanding to these ‘dials’ on our life machine (body). It is the most comprehensive information available for cleansing and developing the chakras and their energies.”

The acclaimed new rendering of an immortal epic of war and destiny: “Mahabharata” - (not that unusual, had my eyes on this one for a while) because I’d better prepare myself if I do end up going to BYTT (where Bikram will make you watch the movie. ALL OF IT. Until late at night. Or, do you call that early in the morning?) and - not less important - recommended by the boyfriend’s parents.
Last, but not least, a book that caught my eye because Ash told me about it. I instantly knew I had to get it.

Dava Sobel’s “Galileo’s Daughter - a drama of science, faith and love” - because it might just teach me something (oh, the Saarcasm!)
Time to turn off the computer, read a little (oh, the luxury! Where to start?), meditate myself in to a comfy sleep and wake up to another day full of (Bikram and Body Balance?) GOOD. Night!
Today, I’m being grateful for… taking control of my own happiness and feeling the energy flow through my body. The effect of smiles. My baby taking care of me (and my sometimes troubled monkey-mind). Sweet emails from ma mère.
