Saar. 24. Travels. Writes. Does that make her a travel-writer? Not just yet. Loves to bring all her beloved ones, earthly and heavenly creatures, along on her trip. Will try to do so by dropping notes, posting pictures, videos, writing stories. A.k.a.: sharing her experiences. Don't feel like reading from a screen? Just wait for the book to get published! (*Wishful thinking*)

Note to self: to go and practice Bikram yoga while fighting the flu is ONE - I know you are stubborn and won’t stop you from having your daily dose.
To continue to stand front row is your own choice (TWO), but if you do - and plan on having a laid-back class…
Don’t start complaining inside of your own head when Teacher, after the first set of Pranayama, tells somebody to stand behind you so she can ‘copy’ you. (Three).
The heat was on people. And, fact is, I love it. I don’t know HOW I manage to get through 90 minutes in the Torture Room right now (without sitting out poses and/or drinking water)… but I guess the flu has made me a little bit braindead -> following the dialogue word by word and it’s AWESOME. Very strong classes, very consistent practice.
It’s like when I first arrived at Wat Doi Suthep, a bit over a year ago, and got a cold. The monk told me to continue practicing, because ‘this will help you later on in life’. And he was right, oh-so right. During my meditation course I learned what discipline is, sticking with something, fighting for it. And how to focus on my breath, even when there is little space to get any air in or out. There is space, no matter what your circumstances are. Focus. Let it flow.
And be surprised by what it does for you. And where life takes you.
